For this living room, we kept the colors super light, bright, and airy. We’ve used plenty of warm whites, ivories, creamy taupes, and rich leathers to bring charm to space. The low lying off-white sofa with moveable ottoman/chaise, covered in soft cotton and linen throw pillows, fills the space nicely and helps the room immediately feel more extensive and more open. We’ve added a rattan hanging chair that adds a whimsical, floating touch to the room. A large bird of paradise potted plant tucks neatly behind the swing to complete the far away destination feel. The very pale, faint geometric wallpaper pattern lends an almost tribal feel to the living room. Lighting is a white ceramic table lamp, and natural wood base floor lamp tucked behind the sofa. In the dining nook, we’ve painted the accent wall a deep navy to contrast with the white cane chairs and a glass top table that helps keep the visual space open, tied together with a rattan totem pendant light and organically shaped mirror.
