A Welcoming Mid-Century Modern Home Office

This home office features a desk that makes more of a statement. It uses mahogany wood that shows a wonderful grain pattern and is framed with contrasting sleek, black wood legs. It’s paired with a black leather office chair and simple black metal and wood desk lamp. The credenza has a dark gray oak finish, and the black bookshelf also provides additional drawer storage. The artwork behind the desk is another abstract piece with stronger contrast of whites, grays, and brown tones. This home office has a narrow sofa upholstered in a light neutral fabric with tufted details and dark mahogany legs. A pair of minimal abstract art prints with a soft neutral background hang above the sofa. Grounding the office is a modern gray cowhide rug with an ombre, striped design. The walls have been painted Sherwin Williams Repose Gray. It’s a very soft, light, and warm gray color. Overall, this home office offers you a functional and stylish space to make you feel warm and inviting.
