The Serenity Meditation Chair is our original and still most popular chair. People love the Zen like simplicity and relative light weight of this meditation chair. Some also like the armless feature which allows for maximum freedom of movement as well as making it lighter weight when moving or carrying to a retreat. The front of the seat of the Serenity Meditation Chair drops 3 inches from either side to the middle to allow for the feet to rest more comfortably below the knees while the back of the seat remains straight across to raise the hips above the legs. The straight back of the chair provides an upright support for meditation not found on most chairs, but is still comfortable enough to allow for multi-use everyday sitting. The feet can be tucked up on the chair as shown or placed easily on the ground in front.
