It was constructed from made-to-last materials to ensure safety, stability and longevity. HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED Crafted with engineered wood and MDF (medium density fiberboard). Expertly constructed with mortise-and-tenon and tongue-and-groove joinery for high quality structural integrity. Hardwood frame is kiln-dried to prevent warping or bowing. Finish is applied using child-safe, water-based paint, which provides durability, depth of color and richness to each piece of furniture. DETAILS THAT MATTER Detailed with molded paneling headboard and footboard, guard rails for top bunk, ladder and slat roll foundation for both bunks. All sides are finished. Bunk mattress must be used on the upper bunk, lower bunk fits a standard twin-sized or bunk mattress (all mattresses are sold separately); do not use a box spring on either bunk. This bunk bed can be converted into two separate beds. Ladder can be built on either the right or left side of the bunk. Mattresses are sold separately.
