The Mannion collection is a great looking set. It’s made of wood and is pretty solid and strong. It doesn’t feel or look cheap. It’s a really solid set.

Its definitely darker outside than shown in pictures, strong smell takes days to go away, also it came with a small scratch. Overall the build and quality is good

Pretty when assembled, light weight wood, but the bed platform has sturdy beams with cross slats forming the platform. Headboard slats had a few lightly warped, had to work on getting them to drop in place. I had a new queen mattress with standard box spring, so high I just needed a pea. So selling the box springs because everyone who would stay in my guest room is under 6 feet in height. No predrilled holes on the bed rails that formed the frame, though the slats had them. Power tools are a must unless you’re able to muscle it Easier with two, assembled in an hour plus.

Excellent quality and easy to put together. I chose to use my box spring. I had been looking for a platform bed for a long time.....exceeded my expectations.....☺️☺️☺️

Awesome bed and great quality!! I'd recommend two-three people to build the bed in under two hours. FYI - The color tone of the barnwood color choice was a bit more orange toned than a sandy brown color...

I bought this bed on Black Friday...and got it the following Monday. Fast! I chose walnut color and it's definitely darker than pictured on the website but it still looks great so I can't complain. I had read the other reviews about a lot of work being required for the bed but that still didn't prepare me for what was in store. There are maybe 50 or so screws that you will be turning right into solid wood. So it's not just tedious and time consuming, it takes some effort too. I wore gloves a lot of the time but my hand was aching for a while afterwards. Once finished though, it looks great and feels solid. I do not see any easy way to disassemble it though and am fearful of what moving this may entail. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could because I think it would be perfect only if it was easier to put together and take apart like I know some beds are. I won't dock a full star for that although I might feel differently come moving day.

Really love this bed...and I give it 5 stars but with qualifiers...it literally comes board by board and requires 2 people a minimum of a solid hour and a half...but when you are done it is a solid bed and great quality...I loved it enough that I bought another one. Just be patient and follow the visual directions.

We’ve had this bed for about a year and we love it! Feels very sturdy and looks great. I put it together by myself and it took a while but the instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Came in 2 boxes. The 2nd box came 2 days after the 1st. Took my husband and I about an hour to assemble. Assembly was pretty easy as long as you follow directions. Love the way it looks and glad we don't have to use a box spring anymore! Very happy with the purchase.

GREAT bed! Very sturdy with a beautiful distressed white finish. Assembly takes quite a bit of time. Make sure the side panels are inserted the right side up, will save u from having to adjust later. ; ) Overall, love the bed!!

All parts were labelled and in good shape. Our 13 year old granddaughter followed the instructions and put together the entire King Size bed by herself with minimal assistance in aligning end pieces! When I asked her how she could accomplish that big job, she said, " I'm from the putting together Legos generation."

Be prepared as everything including the headboard comes in pieces, 2 boxes. All pieces are labeled which was good. Best if done by 2 ppl. The wood is fragile though. Looks very nice once put together. But I'm afraid it won't last. And no protection plan is offered for it. I am sure because they know it won't last long and would have to be replacing it for everyone. I would def. return it had I not thrown the boxes away. Get yourself something better..

We absolutely LOVE our new bed! Sturdy and beautiful.

I bought the King Mannion Bed in the Driftwood Grey. First, beautiful bed and love how it looks. Feels very sturdy. Now some issues… ours arrived without the middle support which is obviously needed to set up the bed. I called customer service and they were very helpful and quickly ordered a new one. All great things but two weeks to get the missing part…little frustrating as I would have expected to get it much sooner but with all that is going on in the world I went on the side of being understanding (people are hard enough on customer service people when it’s not their fault). Pieces don’t all fit together perfectly so be ready to potentially make adjustments. Last and most frustrating piece of the purchase. Boxes arrived with “Baja” not Mannion written on them (instructions said the same thing). I thought that was a bit weird but didn’t think much of it… until stumbling upon the entire Baja line by Camaflexi while searching for other furniture online. The Baja line is available on Am, HD - you name it and it’s out there. Also for a few hundred dollars cheaper than it is here on Birch Lane. Super disappointed - feel like I got the bait and switch and was completely mislead and ripped off. This experience killed my trust in Birch Lane and I won’t buy anything else from here. I want to complete my bedroom set but the dresser is out of stock on Birch Lane until Sept… but surprise I did a quick search and found it for 150 cheaper from HD under the Baja name … at least I’ll get my dresser sooner now and cheaper…here. if
