These remarkably thin vases and vessels are a modern representation of traditional “Arita Ware”. To achieve their unique texture, skilled artisans imprint fabric (in this case linen) onto the exterior. This process gives each vessel a familiar feeling and softened aesthetic. Despite being thin enough to be transparent and being less than half the weight of similar pieces, these vessels are strong and can be handled with confidence.
