It’s a nice lamp, very sturdy, solid base, and throws off an adequate amount of light. It’s not as bright as a LED novelty lamp I just returned for this, but does the job. The light isn’t as stark as that given off by the Gamera Calumn light, but is much softer. I did not realize when I purchased this lamp that the three way light could be no brighter than 100, so this bulb currently is a 150 three-way and does not work in the unit as a three-way light. I will have to purchase a three-way light with 100 as maximum. At this point I cannot attest to the changing light of the bulb. The shade is nice, seems mostly well put together, so no complaints. The cord is a little messy but there are ways to hide it behind objects. The mechanism to lift the lamp had no issues, was easy to maneuver. It was also easy to put together but the styrofoam was super crumbly. Pictures shown are not the full height of the lamp. All in all, much better than many Torchiere type lamps which come with glass instead of a shade. The price is excellent for this sturdy lamp.

It's ok. It gets the job done. (My issues are style, not function.)

The lamp fits well with my apartment. The bottom of the base is very scuffed, overall the metal has a few scratches and the part the shade sits on was bent. I had to bend it into the proper shape so the shade wasn't crooked. I really believe this was an "open-box" item BUT I paid full price.

This is a very attractive lamp, especially considering the price. I like that the height is adjustable however we had to tighten using pliers, impossible to do with only hand pressure. Slight dent on top of base but it isn't noticeable since the lamp is between the sofa and end table, which also hides the cord. Base is weighted and very stable. Lamp was well packed so dent may have happened before shipping.

Love this lamp. Beautiful in person. Shipped quickly. Solid base so it is very stable. I do wish the cord was inside the base but it is as pictured. Just would be a cleaner look if it was inside.

This so far is an amazing lamp. I have yet to get a three way bulb for it but the LED I'm using provides plenty of light for the area. Perfect lamp for reading and the adjustable feature makes it use full just anywhere. It is by my bed right now and is perfect for reading at night. I would highly recommend it.

It’s a very nice lamp! It did come with a lot of crumbly styrofoam that was very messy and also some of the pieces like the base and the shade bracket had paint chippedscuff marks.

For reading this is great since you can raise and lower it. Goes with just about any style of decor.

I love the style of this lamp and it was very easy to put together. I love that the height is adjustable and it has a 3-way switch. The only problem I have with it is that when I was assembling it I couldn't get the shade to sit straight. It turns out the actual metal piece that connects the shade to the lamp is crooked, so I can't straighten it out. I guess since it's in the bedroom it's not too bad, but if I had bought it for the living room I would not be happy.
