The ottoman arrived perfect out of the box, but we’ve had it a few weeks and there already small light marks on it from gentle use. There’s a review that must be pinned from a year ago raving over the way their ottoman has held up through abuse from her children, but the material must have changed or she enjoys the look of distressed leather. Handle with care! Also, not thrilled about paying a $50 fee for contactless delivery...I appreciate the safety precautions, but why should it cost more to NOT be brought into my house? *Update* I started using a leather conditioner specifically for aniline leather every three months, and this ottoman now GLOWS. The conditioner doesn’t alter the color, but it did correct the light scuffs and prevents new ones from showing up. Take care of the leather, and this will be a great piece!

This is the first product from Article that I am not happy at all with. I have bought a few other pieces from Article and have been very happy with it all. I have had many leather products and I’ve NEVER had leather scratch so easily. When I spoke to customer service it was stated that in description it says easily scratched which I’ve have read nowhere such. There is a color variation (which is stated) between squares and the lighter square also seems to be more stretched and sagging. First time calling customer service I called a month after to ask what products are recommended to buff out scratches. 2nd time calling to complain was 3 months after being delivered I was told to live with it. I don’t think this piece will last a year with the way it’s looking. Quality to me is not worth it.

This is exactly what I wanted for my living room. It is very well made and sturdy but comfortable as well.

I know it *says* that it’s effectively a round table with padding on it on the product page, but I definitely thought it would be a large padded floor cushion kind of ottoman, and it very definitely is not. I’m really unclear why it’s so expensive. For anyone thinking about bringing it into their homes, it’s a little bit larger than you might expect. Like 5-10%.

We love our new ottoman! It’s even more beautiful in person than I thought it would be and that’s saying a lot because I totally fell in love with it online. I’m happy to get to enjoy such a gorgeous, high-quality piece for many years to come.

I just received this Ottoman two days ago and I was so excited to get it based on the photos online. The quality of the leather is extremely poor I’ve used it for a total of an hour and there are already scratches in the leather. In addition when I took it out of the box the leather had lines and was discoloured. The quality of the item is cheap in comparison to the price.
