Let me start by saying I love my new bed. It came exactly as advertised in quality shipping/packing materials. I will say the instructions could be a little better. For example, the instructions tell you to install the 3 lateral slats when the wood frame is upside down then to flip the whole thing over. Problem is, those slats will react to gravity and fall out if you're not careful and they are metal so they can be bent out of shape if you're not careful. It may be easeier just to install the 3 slats on the based and then slide the side pieces down onto the slats. I also followed early advice to use the packing materials as a buffer to keep metal from resting on metal which I think is a great idea. I don't know if it would have made a difference or not but it's definitely not squeaky or grindy with. I also had considered building the base out of wider wood to raise the platform more than the ~4 inches it gives you but there is enough clearance for a pair of shoes so I'm glad I didn't. Finally, I bought some light strips to wrap around the base to give a really cool effect. They are Philips Hue so I have a bagillion colors I can control from my phone, assistants, etc. One last word of caution, the corners are very sharp. If you tuck your bedding into the sides like I do, you must be extra careful or you WILL injure yourself. I have learning scars on my shins lol. Anyway, this bed is just awesome and I highly recommend. PS, the Edison bulb lamps and floating nightstands are also Wayfair purchases.

This bed is such a great addition to my son’s modern and minimalistic room with slanted ceiling! It’s a very sturdy bed, and it took my husband and son about 2 hours to assemble it. My son wanted a low profile bed because of the slanted ceiling in his room and this fits the space exactly! We found the perfect nightstands to put next to it and we’re very happy with this purchase.

There is a flaw in the design at least in the queen size beds. The holes don’t match up. The measurements between the holes is 63 12 inches, the measurements between the holes in the headboard is 61 12 inches, so when you try to put the bed together, it is impossible to align the holes. I called customer service, they gave me 15 discount and I drilled new holes on the headboard in order to assemble the bed. Gave it three stars due to customer service.

This bed is amazing. Super sturdy, nice quality. Instructions were easy with no issues. Beautiful product. (King Size)

Overall I really like this bed frame! It is a platform so keep that in mind about height. I ordered a king size and it’s great. Putting it together was a pain as you can see from the first picture. DEFINITELY recommend a rubber mallet to help “bang” those bolts in LoL

The screws on the fixed bed frame were not given. And theres a plate thats broken. In addition, when locked, the board cracks easily. I spent so much money that I only got this effect. So I only gave it two stars. Thanks..

The bed look nice! I like it being lower because it looks like it takes up less space in an already small room. I didnt get the drawer that goes with the stand since it looked small and found something that somewhat matches

We purchased the bed about two weeks ago and it arrived yesterday. It comes with four components. The packages are very heavy. Good thing is that the pieces are all covered in either plastics or papers, so there are no damages. I assembled the whole thing in about 3 to 4 hours ( took some rests in between) with a little help from my wife. I can’t connect the headboard without spaces, I figured that a hammer helps a lot. I have slept on it for one day. It is firm and does not have any sound, except a little bit from the headboard (Not sure if it is an assembly issue or maybe it is new). The height is very low, but it feels luxury with its style. I am overall satisfied and would recommend.

Good. Except waited too long. Ordered in Jan and received in March.

Love this bed. Not really that hard to put together, but I can usually decipher instructions pretty well, so take that comment with a grain of salt. Took the hubby and I probably an hour to get it set up. For sure a two person operation. However, I like the construction, feels pretty solid and it has a whole base on it verses like just some little legs that will get bent over time with use. Very happy with the purchase.

The platform and headboard does not fit together. If I line up one side of holes and screws and dowels are roughly 4"-5" off and the frame does not fit together.

Great Bed! Needed a streamlined queen bed for small guest bedroom. The Windows are rather low and wanted a bed that has a low profile. This platform bed and its low headboard fit perfect in this situation. 2 of us put the bed together easily. Excellent quality!

Absolutely love this bed!!! You will not be disappointed. It does take some time to put together, but it’s very nice and worth it in the end.. Heavy and durable. We wanted a platform bed to keep the views open from our windows.

My 11-year-old son picked out this bed for his room and I gotta say, he’s got great taste. It matches his Hawaii souvenirs perfectly. My husband and I put it together in about an hour and then only difficult part was getting the base attached to the headboard. I just ordered a couple night stands to bring this area together and can’t wait to see them out together. Next up: a new dresser! It’s fun taking his kiddo bedroom into a tween look.

Very high quality bed, made in Portugal. Was pretty easy to assemble (except headboard), all pre-drilled holes fit. The only pain really is the attachment of the headboard as so many reviewer already mentioned. You definitely want another person to help. We used a 1” plywood board, put it right behind the headboard with a towel in between and hammered this way the headboard into the connections. This was probably 15-20 min sweating work. The end result looks just beautiful!!!

Loved my bed, it was exactly what I was expecting. However it did take about 2 hours to put together and needed some help, glad my brother was here to help. If you’re looking for a manly platform bed with style and minimalism then this is your best bet

I bought this bed for the floating look and given the price, I assumed the item was well built. Well, it isn't. The materials seem constructed well but putting it together isn't easy. With 2 people assembling, moving around the heavy parts was not very easy, plus we HAVE to be careful around the pointy edges that the bottom board. The different boards also haven't fit in snugly with each other, even after an EXTREMELY careful routine of soft hammering it. The headboard also is loose and I had to push it against a wall so it doesn't come loose when I lean against it while sitting up on bed. Also, the headboard which is approx 40 lb by itself is FLOATING after assembly. It is held up by 1 screw and 2 plugs on each side. I plan to add wooden blocks under it soon.
