My husband and I splurged for the thicker pad and we don't regret it one bit. I wanted the extra padding so I could play on the floor with the grand kids a little bit longer. My better half wanted it to make sit-ups and push-ups a touch more comfortable on an old man'sbody. The dog loves it because he's sure it's yet another dog bed supplied for his comfort. And as for the rug itself, as owners of a rambunctious pet, we love it's durability and ease of care.

We were looking for a rug around our dining area that would add to the vibes of the room while also being something low maintenance and easy to clean (we have two dogs and a cat). This was perfect and we've received comments about the rug from our guests!

The colors were more brilliant than shown in the picture on line! We love it. It went down somewhat easy and hasn’t moved since!
