Good solid and nice looking lateral file cabinet. Taking off 1 star because of difficulty to assemble. Was able to do it, but not fun.

Great storage space for the price. Deep drawers but are a little stiff and closes harder than I thought.

Great filing cabinet! Easy to put together-took two of us about 30 minutes. We both love the anti-tipping feature, but not too crazy about the clicking noise when engaged. Well packaged-instructions were a little confusing, but we talked it through and figured it out.

For the overall value this cabinet looks good! Be sure to take your time assembling, but with a little work (and patience) the drawersglides close perfectly. Only real negative is the (oddly designed) plastic feet! Luckily they’re not too noticeable.

It is an addition to my desk. My printer fits so I’m happy. Indeed it is for filing but you can still put small supplies for office in it . The instructions are not the greatest but we figured it out in 3 hours . Also the delivery guy just threw it at the carb and i had to drive down to my drive way and pick it up it is a super heavy package . I took up in pieces. I did not chose curb drop off , it was suppose to be leave by garage . The product is good (not heavy duty won’t last it does chip ) and it’s over priced .

Perfectly matches the desk I purchased from you. And while I used the home pros to build the desk, I built the file cabinet myself. Time consuming, but very easy

Great file cabinet. The instruction Manuel was very clear and easy to understand. We put it together with no issues. The bottom drawer goes in first and we couldn’t get it to slide all the way in. Called the customer service number and the person was so helpful…she told us to give it a really hard push! It popped right in and now slides in and out easily. It is filled with files now and looks great!

Whew this was challenging to put together but I did it. It is the perfect tv stand and file cabinet. I use the bottom drawer for storage. I painted the feet chrome to match the pull handles.

The cabinet is sturdy and was easy to put together. All the parts were labeled. Looks better than online. The only thing is the cabinet is very sturdy, but they used plastic feet on the bottom. I'm sure they are fine, just weird.

I’m very pleased with the Masala lateral filing cabinet. I was able to assemble this by myself in 2 12 hours. All of the pieces lined up exactly and there were no missing parts. Im super happy with the color. I was trying to match a rustic gray desk and I don’t think I could have found a closer match. Thanks Wayfair!!

Super cute, but seriously a pain to put together. It took three of us, all young. If you can, hire someone to put this together for you.

Love this cabinet! I got it because it matches the desk I also bought from Wayfair. It wasn’t very easy to put together by myself but I managed!

This file cabinet is almost impossible to assemble. I have put together dozens of pieces of self-assemble furniture (bookcases with doors and drawers, tables, tall glass display cabinets, media furniture) and never have experienced a piece so frustrating. One of the biggest problems is that the pre-drilled holes are far too small for the screws, which therefore will not sink in all the way. I finally had to drill them larger. The drawer sliders are also difficult to install. I attempted to contact the assembly information line, and was disconnected three times after a non-responsive 20 minute hold. I sent five emails to the help email address and received a reply that they would respond in 24 to 48 hours. So, terrible customer service. After several hours of frustration and finding that some of the pre-drilled holes did not align with the openings in the hardware, I contacted Wayfair, which was very responsive and issued me a full refund. I continued assembling the furniture in order to donate it and it took a full day, and required redrilling each hole, and many of the screws were not fully in. To top it all off, the drawers would barely push in and had to be forced. The manufacturer needs to do a great deal of reconfiguring this item. First, make sure it is actually possible to correctly assemble. Second, some pre-assembly would be wise-- particularly the drawer sliders. This would not make it much more challenging to package. Also, stop making your instructions those dumb pictographs like a certain infamous Swedish maker of poor-quality furniture. The pictures are so tiny as to be almost useless, and the diagrams of hardware likewise. They need to label the packages of screws, too, as they are so similar. Overall, I can't imagine anyone being able to put this thing together unless they are quite experienced AND willing to redo things that were not done correctly by the manufacturer.

Take your time putting this together. It’s not a quick job, but the reward is worth it. A great 2 drawer lateral for a great price. High quality product. Assembly does take hours.
