Great faux tree. I cant keep real plants alive so Ive resorted to faux trees but hate when they look plastic. Ive been through so many. I buy them ans then return until i found this beauty. It adds a nice amount of green while not looking plastic.

I've had my eye on this banana tree for over two years! I first saw it in the NYC SoHo store. A fellow customer and I founds ourselves pinching the leaves to determine if it was real or fake! We were both awe struck and had a hard time figuring it out! I've seen similar items offered at a cheaper price point, but held out for the one that fooled me in person! Soooooo disappointed!!! The one I received wouldn't fool a fool! It looks plastic, feels plastic, leaves fell off and I can see the tiny silver nails holding the leaves in place! Not happy!!! Very disappointed!!! C&B must have gone with a different manufacturer after the banana tree sold out! This isn't what I saw nor what I wanted!!! My living room doesn't get much sunlight, so my options are limited! Even in this dim lit room, the plastic sheen of this banana tree shines bright and I feel like I've betrayed my nature loving instincts!

Needed some greenery and found the one for me!

I have looked many places and not found better faux plants than at Crate&Barrel

This tree is nothing short of outstanding. This is the third faux tree I have purchased from Crate & Barrel and it is stunning.

The tree is nice looking, but it's now been airing out in the garage for over a month and still smells really strong of manure. I tried to spread the leaves and it made my hands smell as well. Seems like it is coated in some kind of chemical to make it shiny.

After "killing" a few real trees, I was happy to buy a realistic looking artificial tree. It's a good size and color.

This tree is amazing! It helped create a serene environment in our living room and looks like a real indoor plant. Definitely recommend.

One reviewer mentioned having to do a lot of “coaxing” to get the leaves to open to a more natural look from the narrow tube-like form the skinny box forced them into. I too have that issue and haven’t yet gotten the knack of how to open them so the more natural looking top side shows. The plastic underside ribs really detract from the overall look. Giving it 3 stars anyway in hopes I can get it to look like the pictures.

I have this banana plant for 2 1/2 years and this is one purchase I don’t regret. It’s pretty big and looks very good for a faux plant. I wipe the leaves from time to time to remove the dust. There is some natural “straw” material added to the base of the plant to make it look more real. I also like the brushed paint job to improve its look (see close up photo).

It’s a fake plant. It looks fake if you inspect it closely. But from afar it’s gorgeous.

Gorgeous , this plant adds a nice touch to the entire room .
