Love it! Had some damage on corners when arrived but Wayfair made it right! Also I built cabinets for the two bottom shelf’s!

Replaced the pull down handles with better ones.But all in all, nice unit and happy with the purchase and price.Put it together myself and I’m a girl!Just followed step by step.

Absolutely love the fact that it turns my office into a third bedroom without taking up any space and gives me bookshelves too!

Was a beast to put together but I knew that going in to it. Very solid pieces. Comes in 7 boxes, each one pretty hefty. I could move all but one on my own but it was a struggle. 1. instructions for the two end book cases are in their own box, but some of the book case shelves/pieces are mixed in with the main bed boxes. A few pieces were not numbered but it wasn't hard to figure it out. 2. there is only one set of instructions for the main bed buried in one of the other boxes. 3. rather than cutting the baseboard of my house, i cut the bottom of the bed with a notch to fit over my baseboard and get the bed flush against the wall for mounting. I just found those two pieces first and cut them with a jig saw before I put anything together. 4. maybe it was just me, but some of the hardware/screws were not obvious. Some have a picture to scale but others were hard to distinguish. would be good to walk through the entire instructions once before you start. 5. I only messed up once, I missed a small note just before attaching the facade to the bed frame. It has to put the bed partially open to put the facade on. I did that and the bottom lined up perfectly but the top did not (couldn't tell cause the bed was partially open to install the facade). So when i screwed on the facade the bed didn't line up perfectly when all the way closed. I had to unscrew and re-align and luckily use a slight different spot. Hopefully that will make sense when you get to that step (near the end). 6. Took probably 8-10 hours of putting together over a few days. parts are definitely a 2-person job.

Love the finished product of this bed! It looks so clean and people are amazed that there is even a bed in it! I got the queen size and it fits perfectly in what I would say is a smaller sized bedroom. I highly recommend paying for installation UNLESS you or whoever is setting it up is VERY handy. It took my fiancé (with a construction background) 4 hours to set up and although I couldn’t help too much he definitely needed the 2nd set of hands to hold things in placedown while he worked on the bed. He used lots of his tools that he already had. He says if you want to build this you definitely need to have tools other than what this came with and a second person to help. Even though it was a difficult set up compared to other Wayfair products that I have been able to put together myself, I think it is totally worth it. Looks amazing and feels very sturdy and good quality.

We’ve had this bed for a couple years now and we love it. My husband was able to put the whole thing together by himself, with a tiny bit of help from me. It has held up great, feels really solid, and all of the people who’ve slept on it say it’s very comfy. I’ve slept in it a few nights too and concur. My mom even slept on it for a month or so straight and said it was great. Pillows and blankets fold up into it no problem. And it allows for plenty of open space in our den for our son to play Legos, when not in use (as you can see lol). The shelves are also great, and well utilized by us!

After reading many great reviews, we pulled the trigger on this Murphy bed and it did not disappoint! We have had it in our study for a few months, and it is the perfect piece for the space. Everyone who sees it raves about it! It took my husband a while to put together, but the end result has been so worth it! If you’re on the fence - get it!

Arrived sooner than expected. Paid the extra 40 to have them deliver to the room of my choice (basement), totally worth it. Installation was easy although the instructions could be written a bit clearer. Two people are better then one and sometimes absolutely needed. Even though we measured our space using the measurements provided, it was a bit taller then we measured, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that was our fault. With a little ingenuity we made it work.Overall, we love the piece and would highly recommend.

So far we love it, could have used more shelves so we ordered a few more. The instructions were a little vague but we managed. It is very solid!

Beautiful Murphy bed. Great space saver for a small room.
