Well made. Beautiful wood

A beautiful and terrible quality table. I have it in a low-traffic living room, no pets or kids, and it was scratched up within the first six months by just books/coasters/everyday objects being placed on it. I contacted Article’s customer service and they sent me a touch up kit that turned out to be the completely wrong shade for the table, so now it looks like I colored on it. I wouldn’t recommend buying anything from Article; I had a terrible experience from start to finish with this order and the table isn’t worth more than 1/4 of what it costs.

This table is perfect for our living room and especially for our kids to play on (games and puzzles) without us worrying that they'll bump into sharp corners or tip it over. The wood does scratch easily as other reviewers noted and it was kind of a pain to put together but overall is definitely worth it, especially at this price.

Beautiful table, design and reasonably priced. However, it is very creaky and I think it may be due to the cross bar design of the legs. It initially arrived missing two bolts, for which Article reduced the price for me to find replacement bolts. Once installed, the squeakiness and stability improved slightly but persisted.

This table is beautiful, but it scratches *very* easily. Laptops, books, and coasters have left marks on it. I wish it had a stronger finish.

Unlike in the rather misleading picture shown, the edges are painted a solid colour (not veneer as in the product image), the colour is a bit lighter than expected, and the veneer doesn't quite match the colour of the wood legs. Still, I elected to keep it, since I liked the overall design. Had I known that the top scratches as easily as it does, I might have returned it instead of foolishly throwing out the packaging - I thought other reviews were exaggerating, but that was a mistake, as it somehow got scratched up just by having a laptop on it. Not sure if it was dragged and that's what did it, but surely that shouldn't be enough to mark it. Overall, while the look of the table is lovely, the quality is not worth the price.

The table arrived with damage to the top, sides, and missing screws for the legs. I was unable to finish building the table. The table also looks really cheap for what it is since the top is particle board. The legs look good but with the damage to the table I would prefer to return it.

Looks fabulous! Well packaged and protected. Easy for us to assemble. Lots of bang for your buck.

Nice looking well designed table, but the quality is lacking. In the photos the edges of the top look like they are solid wood or veneer, when in reality they're just painted brown. Additionally, the finish on the top is not durable and scratches extremely easily.

This is my first item from article that I am sorely disappointed in. I purchased this in 2020 and LOVED it, and figured it was a no-brainer that I would buy it again when I moved across the country. This table is nothing like my last one. The colour is so light that my husband questioned whether they had sent me the wrong coloured table. It truly looks bleached as if it had been sitting in the sun for years. My last one was a dark, rich walnut colour but this is a pale, matte taupe. I understand some colour variation, but the difference between the two is very dramatic. There is certainly nothing "rich" about the table I ended up with.

I bought this as part of a bundle with my Anton sofa. It is a lovely piece and complements the sofa. I only wish the finish was a wee bit darker—otherwise no complaints at all. Easy to assemble and seems sturdy.

Packaging is perfect. Quality is excellent. The color was too matte for my taste. Also, I am disappointed to not be able to find matching side tables.
