This makes café-quality espresso while letting you choose the beans, so you can get exactly the taste you want. Plus, the built in grinder is good quality and easy to use. If you really want to though you can easily just use a separate grinder if you wish. Don’t forget to clean it and descale it, as these are actually two separate processes. Then, you also have to replace the filter in the back.

No more automation! Though this unit has some degree of that, better to be a bit more hands on in terms of brewing and frothing. Very nice unit. Easy to maintain.

At exactly the 2 year mark, the plastic handle pulled of the barista piece making it difficult to fill and pour coffee. Customer service has been impossible to reach by phone or chat too so I'm not sure why they bother having these options. I have other Breville products that are a good 8-10 years old so this is disappointing.

My machine was fixed and returned to me promptly. Everything works well. It would have been nice to know before I had paid the repair fee that it would be fixed in my city so I could have contacted the repair shop myself. Also it would be beneficial to know what actual repair was done to my machine.
