The finish on this product is not matte brass. It is agedantique brass. Much darker than pictured in the listing and what I would expect for something labeled matte brass. There is a small rod on the mounting piece that is the correct color, but everything else is the wrong color. The style of the fixture is spot on for what I want, but the finish is not so I will be returning.

I like the chandelier very much, but as you can see, I needed additional light for my dining room and added a small lamp to the buffet. I will switch out the light bulbs I received .

Item is not matte brass. Item is antique brass, the kind cheap door handles and keys are made from. See picture of stem vs matte brass cabinet pull. Clearly not matte brass.

I put this over the foot of my bed in my new condo and it looks fabulous. Dressy but not as fussy as a traditional chandelier. It is completely adjustable with a hinge for a sloping ceiling and many bars that can be added for varying heights.
