While beautiful structure, the lamp has major flaws to include different finishes of gold that are noticeable and a switch that is separate and plastic on the cord. Between those two aspects it just appears cheap. Unusual for cb2

This is a lovely lamp. It is heavy and solid. The metal work is a nice burnished color. I will be returning mine, however. The reason is the lampshade top is too low in relationship to the bulb. If the lamp is lower than eye level, I’m able to see the hot bright top of the bulb. I need softer light in our bedroom. So, good marks for quality and good looks. It would be nicer if the shade were taller or the bulb lower.

Lamp is great, don't like that the bulb height is taller than the shade. Looks odd.

Beautiful lamp, well built but bulb placement is much too high. This would only work on a mantel or something quite tall.

This lamp adds class to our console table. It was very well packed and just as pictured. Bought the gold top lightbulb which really finishes it off.

When I first plugged it in, I was very disappointed with this lamp, because the shade is way too short to effectively shade a normal light bulb; if the lamp is placed on a table, you will have blinding glare when standing within 10 feet of it. BUT, problem quickly solved with a gold mirrored "pendant" style bulb (see attached photos). This eliminates glare and the gold coordinates perfectly with the fixture itself. The lamp does come with an LED A19 bulb; it would be great if CB2 shipped this fixture with an LED mirrored bulb instead!

As other reviewers have noted, this lamp is virtually unusable with the lightbulb provided. The bulb sits too high relative to the shade and produces a blinding glare. A low profile bulb helps but it is not a perfect solution. Hard to believe this product was approved for production.

My daughter recommended as I was looking for a table lamp. She has a very good taste and I must agree with her. It’s so beautiful and it made the space like a designers decor. Also I got it in sale.

I had higher expectations on this product based on the pictures. After receiving the product, I am disappointed at the design and quality. It’s inevitable that you always can see the top of the lamp. It’s not a good looking product as everything you don’t want to see gets exposed such as light bulb, lamp shade frame. The metal pieces are in different colors. I am sorry but I will return the product

I wanted to love this lamp. It’s elegant in shape but the light bulb shows if you’re not eye level, which cheapens it. Also, the metal on the lampshade does not match the base of the lamp.
