My fault for not reading through all the reviews, because upon further inspection, there are several that make note of what is disappointing about this mat. It is essentially a larger towel that would sit on the floor. I love the look and feel of it, but I am confused how there could be no backing ir anything to help hold it secure when stepping out of the shower/tub onto it. It slides all the place. Sadly, this just won’t work.

This bathmat is 100% cotton=absorbent. Looks like new after many washes - no unraveling of seams, no color fading. I have a cat who likes to pee on rugs left in the bathroom, so I need something I can wash with vinegar and baking soda, just in case my son forgets to pick up the rug and hang it to dry. This has been a wonderful solution and it matches the towels we bought him over 5 years ago.

Not what I was expecting. This is more like a towel than a bath mat. There is nothing to keep it in place on the floor / not slip.

I bought this in white 4-5 months ago, and it's still holding up strong - we use it every morning and evening outside of our shower. It's very soft, but hasn't pilled or ripped. Need to wash with only white laundry & some sort of bleach/stain remover. We use an all-purpose bleach alternative, which keeps it looking new.

Thinner than I expected. It does it’s job though.

As others mentioned, it does feel and look like a towel but it's highly absorbent so we like it. Every time I step on it directly from the shower, I get a smile on my face when I see my wet footprints in the towel as it just shows how absorbent the towel is. Also, the thin profile allows our bathroom door to swing freely over it which we couldn't do with a "regular" thickness bath mat.

Color is neutral. The weight of the towel bath mat is great. Thick enough to feel luxurious without taking forever to dry.

This rug is similar to the bath rug/towel you get in a hotel bathroom. Very thin. Looks like towel on the floor.

Never had a rug like this. Once I put it down and stood on it, I decided it was a keeper
