Poor quality, hinge holes don’t fit. After putting screws in, the holes were striped. Asked to rerun it and buy something else.

I like this piece and would like it more but the item I received had a huge crack in the top. Also, there’s a hole in the back to allow TVs cables etc through but there needed to be two more, one behind each door. The whole point of getting a unit with doors was to conceal the cables, cords and router.

it arrived pretty dang broken on one side. i bought it open box, which i thought was supposed to have been checked for condition, so i can't return it. i still like the unit, but it's just very broken on one side and there's not much to be done about it.

Absolutely love it! It has so much charm and character. You can see previous holes made with screws but it really goes with the entire vibe of this TV stand. It’s also really sound and very easy to assemble, I recommend the coffee table too!

Absolutely love this. Easy to setup and looks stunning, the smell of the wood when you first open it up is tolerable, not a huge issue.

Has a very strong chemical smell that gave me a strong headache, a warning sign that says it may cause cancer and came damaged. Definitely would not recommend and not worth 300 dollars.

This does smell of cedar and really looks great. Its solid and certainly worth what I paid for. I love it! Warning, it is really low to the ground, more than I think the advertised photos look. But looks in quality like the photos.

This is utterly amazing build quality for the price paid. It is solid wood, and it feels like it's made of steel, the craftsmanship is so great. It shipped basically assembled. Only needed to unfold the legs, secure them, and reattach the door handles. I was not pleased with the delivery - they left it several yards away from my apartment, in public view, and I furtunately had a dolly to bring it to my apartment. With Covid-19, it would have been difficult to find someone to help carry it to my apartment. I have received nothing but compliments on it - Most valuable of any furniture I have ever purchased at this price. This is reclaimed wood, I have several pieces I have reclaimed from shipping crates that I use for record collection, don't worry about sanding or chipping, spray it down with Scott's Liquid Gold or use an oil rag with linseed oil to prevent splintering... It smells strongly of linseed oil, which I find pleasant from shop class... if you wish to freeze it, you can sand it down, and coat it with clear polyurethane, but that kind of defeats the purpose. The shipping crates date back to the 1940s, and they are still solid, and look great!

First of all, thank you to everyone who writes a review and posts pictures. I find them very helpful. This console worked out very well for me. It was just the right size and it was in perfect shape. I needed a low, narrow piece to fit between two doorways near my dining area. I was able to assemble it all by myself--it took about 20 minutes. The legs snapped into place perfectly and I thought the clips to keep them in place were very clever. The only thing that threw me off is that it came with the door handles screwed in backwards. It occurred to me after a few minutes that was done to protect them during shipping. Very clever--easy to remove and put in the right place. 9/9/20: Just added a picture with the Jarrell area rug I received today. I also bought one for another area in my house.
