This plate holds a decent sized side salad. The edge/lip helps to keep any dressing or sauce from spilling over the side.

We're really happy with the entire Court set

So far so good. These plates are a good size for serving small meals, salad and snacks. However, since they’re no doubt made in the same place as the court bowls I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop.

We really enjoy these plates because of their unique shape. They hold up really well too.

I have added to our beautiful dishes from Crate and Barrel. We have had this set for over 10 years and still enjoy them. They are strong dishes that endure a large family.

Horrible quality. The finish is so bad it is worse than a Factory Second!

Never bought square plates before but the food area is bigger and fit nicely in the dishwasher.
