An Exotic French Country Living Room

In this design, we wanted to emphasize the airy sophistication of the French countryside. With a few subtle pops of blue to add contrast to space, the neutral color palette focused on creating a homey and comfortable sitting area perfect for relaxing with a good book or entertaining guests. Centered around the fireplace, two beautiful white sofas and two regal armchairs add symmetry to the room. A comfortable tufted upholstered ottoman is the perfect versatile coffee table. It provides plenty of space for a family to gather and play a game or sit back with their feet up. A large antique glass mirror over the mantle adds a rustic touch and opens up the room allowing for light to flow through the entire space. An ivory/blue/yellow rug with a distressed pattern grounds the room against the rich floor and balances comfort with elegant style.
