Mid-Century Kids Bedroom Design With a Playful Color Palette
One look at this kids' bedroom, and your eyes will feast on the bright and playful color palette. The chic, elegant, and low-profile upholstered bed is in a teal fabric with tufted button details, adding a tinge of glam to space. We’ve thrown a couple of brightly-colored pillows with various patterns and a soft, muted lavender duvet on the bed to brings out a cute, mischievous vibe. The nightstands from Wayfair, which frame the bed, are two-toned with a white frame and a natural wood drawer. The West Elm dresser has a similar design but is accentuated with brass details. For the kids' book and toy storage, we included a cubby set from Pottery Barn Kids. The reading nook is outfitted with a gray leopard print faux fur hair and a gray sherpa bean bag chair. The area rug has a bold geometric pattern with a similar teal color as the upholstered bed. Finally, the window’s rainbow pom-pom patterned drapes are pulled aside, inviting in the natural light.
