A Transitional Home Office In Neutral & Gold Hues

For this home office, we chose a simple desk, a light natural wood finish. Above the work desk is a wood shelf that holds books, pictures, and decor. The table lamp has a handwoven rattan rope base with a beige finish. The reading chair is upholstered in a beige fabric with a subtle checkered pattern and accompanied by a marble and brass nesting side table, an off-white pouf, and a brass reading floor lamp. The area rug is gray with a modern diamond pattern. The major artwork in this design is a set of botanical sketches that brings the outdoors indoors. The room has been painted Sherwin Williams Mild Blue, a very light soft color and nicely complemented by the room's white linen curtains.
